i had problems with symptons, especialy with insomnia and found that exercise helped me sleep better at night.

i go power-walking every morning with my dog Hannah. i've been doing it for 8 months and i'm fitter and happier for it.

My friends keep saying this to me too... that exercise has a mood altering and calming effect as well.. probably just as well.. since my main concern is that I'm maybe sitting around too much moping.. I guess when you're all tired out you don't have enough energy to be bitchy, I shall try it and maybe start walking.. but how long do you have to walk to have any positive effects of it?

excercise naturaly boosts you mood because it releases seratonin in the brain, natures "feel good chemical!"

i've found that since i started going to the gym 3 times a wk my mood has inproved dramaticaly and ive lost wieght. wieght training has helped most, this also reduces the risk of ostioporosis later on in life.

Diet is a big one too, cutting out caffiene and reducing spicy food has helped, as well as incresing my intake of organic fruit/veges and soy products.

Thanks such a good medical information tips and definitely i completely agree with the exercise in menopause is give better relax to your body.
I want have some tips hope it will consider:
* Prevent weight gain. Women tend to lose muscle mass and gain abdominal fat during and after menopause. Even slight increases in physical activity can help prevent weight gain.
* Reduce the risk of breast cancer. Physical activity during and after menopause that results in weight loss may offer protection from breast cancer.
* Strengthen your bones. Physical activity can slow bone loss after menopause, which lowers the risk of fractures and osteoporosis.
* Reduce the risk of other diseases. During and after menopause, the risk of various chronic conditions — including cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes — increases. Regular physical activity can counter these risks.
* Boost your mood. Physical activity during and after menopause can improve your psychological health.
