Yes bitchyness - I feel like a teenager again! I am so easily ticked off at the dumbest things, and then I get depressed and I feel guilty about having been abusive to everyone around me, my whole family. Is this a normal menopause symptom?
I am not really sure who to ask about this either...my GP or my gyno? I still have normal periods and no hotflashes or anything, but this bitchyness is really new (is this menopause??) and its affecting everyone around me. I think I need help!

I know how you feel! The littlest things that my husband does can completely tip me off! Like how he leaves the toilet seat up or "forgets" to do the dishes. I feel a little bad sometimes, but most of the time I'm trying so hard to deal with all these blasted symptoms that I've snapped at him before I've realised it.

It's not fair! I'm not even 40 yet, and still want kids!

I'm afraid moodyness are just one of those top menopausal symptoms that many of us complain about, next to flushes and night sweats!! Evil or Very Mad

If you learn to recognise it as a symptom, you can learn to deal with it in your own mind - this actually goes a long way to feeling that you are regaining some control over your feelings. Wink

I had all these symptoms back in the winter, they got so bad that I went on to develop full blown panic attacks, it was then that I started to do some research and I learned so much about what was happening to me and how to recognise the start of a panic attack and stop it from developing.

It is a matter of breathing correctly!! Even if you do not have panic attacks, simple breathing techniques can really help you overcome the feeling of stress and being unable to cope, I have used them on many occasions and they have worked each and every time. Wink Smile
