About Estrogen
Estrogen is actually a group of several steroid hormones produced primarily the by ovaries. It is known as a female hormone and is essential for the development of secondary sex characteristics in females, the initiation of the menstrual cycle, as well as other functions. The secondary sex characteristics estrogen is responsible for developing are:

- pubic hair growth
Estrogen has influences on many of the body’s functions, not only sexual function. These bodily functions include:
